The Snoop Dogg G Pen Dry Herb Vaporizer

snoop dogg g pen dry herb vaporizer

Another weed smoking accessory that I love is the Snoop Dogg G Pen dry herb vaporizer and that’s not just because of the celebrity endorsement by Snoop Dogg (the pot-smoking figure of the decade). As a matter of fact, it is not only Snoop Dogg who uses the G Pen, there are many other celebrities who were seen using this product, including Seth Rogen. Anyway, that’s beside the point. Let us go onto talking about this vape pen, and you can somewhat call this a review of the Snoop Dogg G Pen.

Like most products from Grenco Science, the G Pen is priced slightly cheaper than most competitors. When I say slightly, I mean the price might be cheaper by like $10 as compared to the Atmos Raw. I know a lot of people who shop by price and they assume all these vaporizers are the same. They are similar in terms of how they work, but they are in no way the same products.

What I like about the Snoop Dogg G Pen vaporizer is that it is really thin and lightweight. Although most portable vaporizers are small in size, this one is noticeably lighter. However, it’s lighter due to the fact that the pen is mostly made of plastic while the heating chamber is glass. That means this pen is a lot more fragile than the Atmos. I would recommend that you either get a carrying case for it, or keep it in the original box when not in use. The pen itself doesn’t break as easy, even though it is more fragile, but the heating tank (being that it is glass) will break if you drop it.

Another reason why I like the Snoop Dogg G Pen kit is because it comes with more accessories than most other herbal vape pen kits. It comes with two glass herb containers (well, you can store anything you want with them) which are handy and neat. The kit also comes with the G grinder card which is a neat little tool that allows you to grind herbs. Of course, using an actual grinder is more practical and would work better, but it’s nice to know that you have it. Additionally, the kit comes with a number of cleaning tools. All dry herb vaporizers tend to come with cleaning tools, but you get a little extra with the G Pen.

This vaporizer packs a pretty powerful battery that lasts up to 10 hours of continuous use. Of course, nobody expects you to smoke pot for 10 hours straight. It just comes handy if you’re always on the run or if you spend a lot of time outdoors where you don’t have access to a charger. It charges using a USB, so if in any case, you can always get those smartphone external batteries and plug the charger into one of those. Alternatively, you can also charge it with your laptop.

The G Pen can be easy taken apart into 4 separate pieces, the battery, the mouth piece, the glass tank, and the atomizer. This makes it easy for you to replace parts if you ever need to. Some vaporizers come in one or two pieces making it harder for you to clean the vaporizer and replace parts.

The G Pen double series actually comes in other designs aside from the Snoop Dogg LBC edition. I’d say that 99% of people would say that the Snoop Dogg G Pen is a much more attractive vaporizer as the original one is just all black. The pen is a navy blue with chrome accents and a street map imprinted into the design. You will also see Snoop Dogg’s signature scribbled on the pen. It’s neat and looks great, I can’t complain about that.

Would I recommend this vaporizer? Absolutely, the Snoop G Pen is an icon herbal vaporizer that is recognized by many who smoke marijuana. G Pen is a reputable company that offers a wide range of other products as well.

Smoking Weed using the Dry Herb Vaporizer

I’ve spent my fair share of time in the east village and St Mark’s Place in the city. I have met countless stoners and potheads and have learned quite a lot from them. In Guangzhou, where I’m from, we just rolled our joints with paper or put the weed into cigarettes.

To be honest, I have never even heard of bongs or bowls until I came to NYC. Of course everyone looked at me like I was crazy but I picked up pretty fast. I got myself a few of these little accessories and I think I might have even spent over a hundred dollars on this stuff. I eventually then learned about the dry herb vaporizer and since then everything has changed!

The model that I purchased was the Atmos Raw, which I found a lot of reviews of, and went for it when it was on sale over the Black Friday weekend. It was super easy to use and worked as soon as I opened the package. It came will a charged battery and I just put my herbs into the vaporizer and smoked.

What puts the herbal vaporizer above all the other accessories is because this electronic device does it all. Basically, you I no longer have to waste my time rolling joints. I smoke quite often, so it could be really tedious work for me to be rolling them up all the time. I know some people like to pre-roll their joints and put them into cigarette boxes, but even that takes a lot of work.

This is how I describe how simple it is for you to smoke using the dry herb vape pen. You simply put your ground cannabis into the pen, press a button, and inhale from the mouth piece. The process takes about 10 seconds.

It is also windproof, so if I’m ever smoking outdoors, I never have to be concerned about the wind or trying to get my lighter to stay lit. It really is a nice piece of equipment.

Smoking Weed in NYC

I have smoked pot everywhere I went, but unfortunately I haven’t been to too many places yet. I remember Cali weed was good, I really found myself enjoying it and the ease of finding weed there is unmatched. I remember once I was having a conversation with a really random guy about marijuana, and I guess we had that conversation for a while too long. I remember eventually he asked if I needed any weed and that he had some home grown stuff and really hooked it up.

Although I wouldn’t try that in New  York City, I feel that you have to know someone in order to get your pot. Thankfully, everybody who has lived in this city knows at least one pot dealer. So I was able to get a wide array of different weed strains and hybrids. They have some amazing stuff here!

There was this one strain that I smoked, unfortunately I don’t remember what it is called, but it made me feel like I was a giant walking in slow motion. It was a very weird experience, but very different and enjoyable.

Everybody who is not from the Big Apple, including myself, always assumed that the people here are always too busy to have fun and everything revolves around your work and paying bills. I learned that people really know how to have fun here and kick back. I have enjoyed going to bars and clubs with co-workers and even smoking weed with my co-workers. At times we even smoked during breaks while we were at work. Let’s keep that a secret between us.

Anyway, I hear it’s only a misdemeanor here to carry a small amount of pot or to be smoking it. You’ll get ticketed at most, in rare cases you might get arrested (I think). I’m hoping they will legalize marijuana here soon! Otherwise, I might consider moving to Colorado!

Hookah Smoking in NYC

I have never smoked cigarettes before but I do occasionally smoke pot. I find myself really enjoying weed for the most part, as long as it’s the right strain (it usually is).

Alongside all the other nightlife activities here in NYC, all the bars and clubs, I have also tried hookah smoking here as well. I have never even heard of hookah until I was here. It is quite an enjoyable experience and I have tried many different flavors available in various hookah lounges across the boroughs. Most of them happen to be in Manhattan or Brooklyn.

I hear that as long as the hookah tobacco doesn’t contain any nicotine, you won’t get addicted to it like cigarettes. Also, because it is filtered through the pipe that you are smoking with, it is less harsh than cigarettes as well. However, because it is a tobacco product, I still try to keep shisha smoking at a minimum. Of course, they also serve beer and hard liquor in most hookah lounges here, and I do enjoy drinking.

Anyway, my friend told me about electronic hookah pens which sound pretty interesting. I have heard about e cigs and have seen people use these devices, but never really looked into these nicotine free vaporizers. So far, what I know is that these pens are safe to use and doesn’t contain nicotine, tar, or tobacco. So it could very well be my go-to alternative for hookah smoker. Of course, the activity of hookah smoking isn’t always about just smoking hookah, it’s about spending quality time with friends and chatting it up after a day’s work.

If they allow people to use these vaporizers in bars (which I think they do, because I think I recall having seen people use them in bars), I would probably purchase a few just to play around with when I drink. I know a lot of social cigarette smokers, perhaps these pens could help to replace that too. I mean, after all they don’t actually need the nicotine.

Any recommendations of where to start, how to get them, and more information about these products would be great!

Welcome Everybody!

Welcome all readers to my first official website for writing about my personal experiences! For those of you who don’t know me, take this as a little introduction to who I am and the purpose of this blog.

My name is Zhuang Jiang Yu and I am from Ghuangzhou, China. I have spent the majority of my earlier years in Hong Kong and went to school there all throughout college. I have learned English at a very young age and still continue to try to perfect knowing this language as well as my native language (Cantonese).

I have lived in the United States, specifically in California. I spent 3 years living in San Francisco, which has now become a major part of my life. I continued my education here and minored in English while studying Economics. I moved out of California when I was 25 years old and moved back to Hong Kong. I spent about a year in HK before realizing that maybe living in The States were more suited for me. I have only recently moved to New York City and am currently residing in Flushing, Queens.

New York City is a very different experience for me as compared to San Francisco or just California in general. Everything is so fast paced here and nobody stops for a minute! I am getting used to the lifestyle here though, the nightlife, the bars, the food, the fashion, and everything here.

I have experienced a lot within these months that I’ve been here and I think this might be the place for me! The only complaint that I really have is that the rent is quite expensive and everything else is also very expensive. Although I do not smoke cigarettes nor drive, both cigarettes and gas are notably more expensive than anywhere else I’ve been. I do plan on getting a car though, even though it is kind of silly for New  York City.
